Competition: Premier League
Market: Everton to finish top-four
Odds: 6/1 @ Bet 365
Everton are hopeful of enjoying another good Premier League season after recently securing the signing of Romelu Lukaku, who spent 2013/14 on loan from former side Chelsea. The Belgian has signed a permanent deal with the Toffees, and will join ex-Man City midfielder Gareth Barry and Muhamed Besic this summer.
Lukaku scored 15 Premier League goals last season for the Merseyside outfit, helping them to fifth place in the table with a record-high points tally. With his arrival, coupled with the club having extended the contract of talented midfielder Ross Barkley, and Everton are hoping to push on for a Champions League place.
Bet 365 are giving odds of 6/1 for the Blues to finish fourth or higher in the table, which will be increasingly difficult due to Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are gunning for a place in Europe. But Roberto Martinez has already seen Everton in the Europa League in his debut campaign, coming close to pipping Arsenal to the post in 2013/14.
