Competition: Premier League
Market: Everton and Stoke City to draw
Odds: 10/11 @ William Hill

Everton host Stoke City at Goodison Park this afternoon, and are hoping to continue their recent form to climb up the table. The Toffees have been horribly inconsistent this season and could be given a challenge by a travel-happy Stoke side also in good form. Wins have been sparse with the Blues and they are currently only in 9th place after 18 games. Stoke are locked on points with their opponents, and are coming off the back of a win over Manchester United.

Victory for Everton or Stoke today could see them just one place outside a Europa League spot in the Premier League so there’s plenty to play for. Both sides have underperformed at times which has lead to their lower-than-expected place in the table at the mid-point of the season, and the two outfits could well cancel each other out given their penchant for draws.

Everton have played out eight stalemates in their 18 games already, while Stoke have drawn five of theirs. On home soil, the Blues have drawn a third of their matches. Stoke have drawn nearly half of their away outings. As a result, William Hill are giving odds off 10/11 for the two sides to draw at Goodison Park this afternoon, which is a result the pair would likely have settled for before the game given the fixture pile up around the Christmas period.
