Everton manager David Moyes is hoping to bring in at least two more fresh players on loan in the January transfer window.
The Toffees are struggling with an ongoing injury crisis and have already agreed a short-term loan deal for LA Galaxy ace Landon Donovan.
“The situation hasn’t changed regarding finance,” Moyes said.
“But I feel we need to get players in. I have got one and I’m hoping to get another two or three.
“I’m working around the clock to see who I can bring in on loan. I would like to bring in a centre-half if possible.
“That’s the priority for us but it’s a little bit harder at the moment finding anything else. I feel as if I can’t keep waiting on injured players to return.
“There are not a lot of loan opportunities but I have two or three I might be able to get.
“There are always one or two people who want to move players out. You don’t get a club’s best players on loan in January. You don’t get their best players on loan at any time. So we’re daft in thinking that.
“We hope to add players who will help us. If they can help us win a couple of games here and there then they will be doing their job.”

I wonder where Moyes ideally wants Heitinga playing…
I have seen him in center & right mid and also canter and right back.

I hope Donovan does well at Goodison Park. He certainly has the ability to be a regular starter for the Toffees while he’s in Merseyside. Pray Moyesy recognizes that.
