Everton lead chase for Brahimi

Portuguese media outlet A Bola understands that Premier League outfit Everton have emerged as favourites to recruit FC Porto midfielder Yacine Brahimi.

After expressing his desire to leave the club, the Algerian was dropped from the senior squad, but he now has less than a week to find new employers.

Brahimi is reportedly keen on moving to English Premier League, with Everton seriously considering a move for the 26-year-old footballer.

According to A Bola, their Premiership rivals Arsenal are also looking at the attacking midfielder, but the Toffees are believed to have the upper hand at the moment.

Everton have been targeting a number of high-profile footballers of late, but they appear to have lost the chase for both Lucas Perez and Rachid Ghezzal.

The Toffees hope to show considerable improvement this season and they can be backed at 7/2 to achieve a top 6 finish in the Premier League.
