Everton lining up surprise Hart bid

Everton have been linked with a shock move for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, according to the Express.

The Merseyside outfit are ready to spend big after gaining investment from businessman Farhad Moshri, and they have identified England’s number one as their top target.

The twenty-six year old moved to the Etihad Stadium from Shrewsbury Town in the summer in July 2006 and has since racked up close to three hundred and fifty appearances for the club in all competitions while he has also had loan spells at Tranmere Rovers, Blackpool and Birmingham City.

He has helped City to two Premier League titles, two League Cups and the FA Cup while he is firmly established as his countries first choice shot-stopper.

He has been capped fifty-eight times for the Three Lions and is set to add to that tally at this summer’s European Championships in France.
