Everton linked with Casemiro move

Everton are lining up a summer move for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, according to the Metro.

Having already fallen down the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti, the 23 year old is currently on loan with Porto where he has made twenty-six appearances in all competitions.

Prior to his temporary move to the Portuguese giants, he played just twenty-seven times for Real, while internationally, he has been capped seven times for Brazil though he failed to make their squad for last summer’s World Cup finals.

Toffees manager Roberto Martinez has been watching Casemiro closely, and sees him as the ideal addition as he looks to make a fresh assault on the top four next season after a so far underwhelming 2014/15 campaign.

The Merseyside club, who currently sit in twelfth place in the Premier League, travel to third place Arsenal on Sunday afternoon and can be backed at 6/1 to take all three points.
