Everton manager David Moyes was full of praise for his injury-hit side after they saw off Aston Villa 3-1 in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
“With Villa’s resources, I felt we would have a problem with the injuries we had to cope with, but they adapted”, Moyes said after the victory. “The team has been very good, very strong”.
“Senior men Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Phil Jagielka, they all did so well. It was a very good team performance. Victor Anichebe played very well. He was as good as that against Liverpool a few weeks ago, what he needs to do now is show that consistently”, Moyes added.
