Everton step up chase for Steven N’Zonzi

The Daily Mail is reporting that Everton have stepped up their efforts to recruit Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla.

The Toffees are one of a number of clubs ready to offer the Frenchman an escape route from Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and they are looking to wrap up the deal as soon as possible.

According to reports, Everton are ready to offer £25 million for the player who is looking to leave Sevilla after clashing with former boss Eduardo Berizzo.

At the same time, the Toffees are closing in on a £25 million deal for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun, and their transfer activity is enough to suggest the club are eager for the latest uptrend in fortunes to continue.

Everton did well to return to the top half of the standings under Sam Allardyce and can now be backed at 50/1 chance for a top 6 finish.
