Everton want £30m for Rodwell

Everton have put a £30million price-tag on starlet Jack Rodwell.

The young centre-back has long been linked with a move to Premier League champions Manchester United, but Everton boss David Moyes is keen to keep the starlet at Goodison Park.

A Goodison insider told the Sunday Mirror: “Jack is one of the brightest talents here but, although David Moyes wants to keep him, everyone has a price.

“It will take big money to sign him and United are interested. He [Alex Ferguson] has a good relationship with the Everton manager, unlike what happened in the summer with City.”
