Premier League sides Everton and West Ham are hot on the trail of Marseille midfielder Dimitri Payet, L’Equipe can reveal.
The French footballer has been in stunning form this season and it is hardly surprising that he has been the subject of interest from top European clubs.
Everton and West Ham appear to be weighing up summer moves for the 28-year-old midfielder, while few more sides could join the race as well.
Nevertheless, it is believed that Payet would prefer to remain with Marseille, especially if coach Marcelo Bielsa stays.
However, the French side are not in a position to reject a big money proposal for his services, meaning the ball is now in the court of the two Premier League clubs.
Payet has managed impressive 7 goals and 17 assists in 36 Ligue 1 outings this season, but he could not help OM secure the Champions League qualification.
