(GSM) – Cesc Fabregas will start in Arsenal’s Champions League quarterfinal against Barcelona after recovering from a leg injury.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger gave the Spanish playmaker until an hour before kickoff at Emirates Stadium to prove his fitness to play the defending European champions.

The Spain midfielder was hurt in a 1-1 Premier League draw against Birmingham on Saturday.

Fabregas is Arsenal’s leading scorer this season with 18 goals in 35 matches from central midfield
