Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao joined his team-mates in their preparatory training session before Sunday’s Liga clash with Malaga.
The Colombia international was forced to sit out Atletico’s narrow victories over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League, and Espanyol in La Liga, with a thigh injury, but has returned to training according to AS.
Falcao has scored seven goals this season, making him the league’s top-scorer, ahead of both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have scored six times each.
Midfielder Tiago Mendes was not present at training, however, after suffering an injury in the Europa tie with Plzen.
The 31-year-old is now set to undergo tests to determine the extent of the injury.
Gifted starlet Kader, 20, trained alongside the first team and could be set to make his second start for Atletico.
