Inter Milan managing director Marco Fassone says the club are unsure on a move for Villarreal attacker Giuseppe Rossi in January.
The Italy international, who is currently recovering from a knee injury, is keen to leave the Segunda Division side, and has set his sights on a move to Serie A.
Nevertheless, despite Inter’s interest earlier this year, a winter transfer to the Giuseppe Meazza side is still far away.
“The next transfer moves for Inter? In January we’ll see if we need to take action,” Fassone told ANSA.
“Giuseppe Rossi? We still haven’t discussed a potential move for him.”
The 25-year-old forward joined Villarreal from Manchester United in the summer of 2007. His contract with the Spanish club is due to expire in 2016.
