FC Dallas have struggled since beating Toronto FC at the beginning of August, as they have tied one and lost three of their last four games. Now, with seven MLS games to go until play-off time, FC Dallas are in dire need of a confidence boost to propel the team into a play-off spot.

According to their coach, Schellas Hyndman, their win in the friendly game against Club America has provided just that.

“This team needs winning. This team needs positive feedback. This team needs to feel good about itself. This team needs hardware. When we sit down and evaluate this, I think we’ll see we had a lot of people who had very good games,” said Hyndman, according to the Star Telegram.

With tough games away to DC United and Chicago Fire coming up, this will have been a most welcome boost for FC Dallas.
