Fede Cartabia linked with Premiership move

Spanish media outlet Superdeporte has learned that Valencia winger Fede Cartabia could be moving to English Premier League this winter.

Despite showing a great deal of potential at Mestalla last term, the 21-year-old was loaned to Cordoba last summer, and he in turn continued the rich vein of form.

Cartabia has been one of club’s star performers this season, having managed 3 goals and 5 assists in 17 La Liga outings.

As a result, he has caught the eye of several Premier League clubs, who are exploring the possibility of signing him in the January transfer window.

Cordoba have the option to purchase his contract for a fee of €8 million at the end of the season, but los Che could decide to sell the youngster this winter in case of a good offer.

Cartabia, who has represented Argentina at the Under-20 level, has a contract until June 2017 with the La Liga side.
