Fenerbahce are the new leaders in the Turkish Super Lig, at least for a day, following a 1-2 victory at Konyaspor in Friday’s only game.

Luis Aragones’ side took the lead through Turaci after 34 minutes and Deivid made it 0-2 with a few minutes to go in the first half.

Cihan got one back for the home side in the 52nd minute but Fenerbahce held on to their lead to win their fourth league game in a row.

‘Fener’ are now one point ahead of Sivasspor and Trabzonspor, who both have a game in hand. Sivasspor travel to meet with Genclerbirligi on Sunday and Trabzonspor host Eskisehirspor a day earlier.
