Inter’s Portuguese winger Luis Figo is confident that they are stronger than Juventus, ahead of their clash on Saturday.
The 36-year-old is expected to feature in the game.
“Starting over is truly hard, as you have to work even more and train in spite of the pain,” he told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Did I ever consider retiring? Yes, I did, but I soon kicked out the idea.”
He continued: “Inter just have to think about themselves. I am not just being politically correct, as I mean that we are the best team and always have to win at home.
“I believe [José] Mourinho is right in saying it’s best to face them after a seven-game winning streak.
“I’m not saying they will be relaxed, but they would certainly be more fired up in times of crisis.”
