Filip Kostic nears summer exit

Stuttgart winger Filip Kostic is almost certain to leave his current employers for greener pastures, according to Bild.

The Swabians rejected a €20 million offer for his services last summer as they expected a difficult relegation struggle, but things have changed since.

Stuttgart have spent the current campaign in the middle of the standings and they can now afford to cash in on Kostic at the end of the season.

The Serbian winger has made it clear that he wants to play European football next season and with the Swabians nine points behind Europa League positions, it is clear that he will be leaving in the summer.

With the likes of Dortmund, Wolfsburg, Schalke and top clubs from Italy and England after his signature, Stuttgart value the player at €30 million.

Filip Kostic, 23, has been one of Bundesliga’s star performers this season, having managed 5 goals and 4 assists in 23 outings.
