Fiorentina boss admits interest in Cassano

Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has hinted that he would be interested in signing Antonio Cassano from Milan.

The Italy international is not considered a part of Maxi Allegri’s starting line-up at San Siro and he could be tempted to leave the club this summer.

Fiorentina have recently been linked with a move for Cassano and now Viola boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has admitted interest in the forward.

“He’s a great player,” Mihajlovic was quoted as saying by La Repubblica.

“If he has the right motivation and he gets it in his head that he has to train hard then he would be of use to any side.”

“It might not be very easy to manage him, but I would have no problem with that as it’s the same with all great players.”
