Serie A outfit Fiorentina are weighing up a summer bid for Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler, according to Sport Mediaset.
Viola look set to stay without Alberto Aquilani in the summer and they believe the Switzerland star would be a perfect replacement.
Gokhan Inler is no longer regarded a first team regular at Stadio San Paolo and there is a good chance Napoli will cash in on him, especially if Jornginho’s loan deal is turned into permanent move.
The 30-year-old has only made 16 Serie A outings this season, starting just five matches after the turn of the year.
His four year spell with the Azzurri appears to be drawing to a close, but everything suggests Inler will not be leaving Italy’s top flight.
His suitors Fiorentina have made it to the Europa League semi-finals by defeating Dynamo Kiev, and they can be backed at 3/1 to go all the way and secure Champions League qualification.
