Fiorentina want Domenico Berardi

Underperforming Fiorentina have plans to launch an assault on Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, according to La Nazione.

Viola face an uphill task to keep hold of Federico Bernardeschi, and they appear to be on the lookout for his replacement.

La Nazione has suggested that Fiorentina have made Sassuolo hotshot Domenico Berardi their number one target.

At the same time, they also want the Neroverdi boss Eusebio Di Francesco, and they are expected to begin talks with the Serie A rivals in the coming weeks.

The duo has enjoyed an excellent working relationship at MAPEI Stadium and Fiorentina officials hope the fruitful partnership will continue at Artemio Franchi.

However, Viola face stiff competition for their targets seeing that top Italian sides are keen on both Berardi and Di Francesco.

The talented tactician has largely impressed since joining Sassuolo, but he is expected to join a top club at the end of the season.
