Forlan to give Premier League another go?

Talk Sport are reporting that former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan has been made available for transfer from Inter Milan.

Tottenham have been a team linked with Forlan in the past and this news is sure to grab the attention of the White Hart Lane club.

The Uruguayan has found life tough in Serie A where he made just 14 starts last season, scoring two goals. The 33-year-old may feel it is now time to move on and give the English Premier League another go after a poor spell at Manchester United earlier in his career..

Inter are set to be busy in this transfer marker as Andrea Stramaccioni is taking charge of his first full season at the helm of the side. Stramaccioni will know some players will have to be shown the door as he looks to chance the fortunes of the side.

Spurs are without a manager at the moment so Forlan may have to wait until someone is appointed at the North London side before speaking to them.

The striker has proved himself to be brilliant at times over the years, however consistency has been the trouble for him. Should Spurs sign him, it could go either way.

We shall see.
