Competition: Premier League
Market: Tim Sherwood to be next West Brom manager
Odds: 2/1 @ Bet 365

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood is once again the bookies favourite to take up the vacant role at West Bromwich Albion this summer.

Despite the exit of Pepe Mel having been last month, West Brom haven’t been rushing to name his successor, and with the club having been embroiled in a relegation battle last season, they are looking for an attack-minded manager who can bring the best out of their limited resources.

Sherwood certainly is that. From the guise of Harry Redknapp previously at Tottenham, the 45-year-old has certainly picked up some of Redknapp’s philosophies to management, and impressed in his first season as Tottenham boss.

He was sacked after owner Daniel Levy replaced him with the former Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino this summer, but it hasn’t harmed Sherwood chances of getting another Premier League job, with Bet 365 giving odds of 2/1 for him to be West Ham’s next manager for the 2014/15 season.
