Miralem Pjanic believes Roma’s improved performances serves as evidence the club is ‘heading in the right direction’.
The Italian capital club initially struggled to find their best form this season, but they have climbed to fifth spot in the Serie A table after collecting maximum points from their past four games, while also booking their place in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
“We are satisfied with what we have done so far and must keep this up. We have two more games before Christmas and have to remain focused,” the former Olympique Lyonnais star told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Winning games helps you to win even more. We are heading in the right direction and the other teams will start fearing us a bit.
“We respect our opponents, but we’re confident that we’re on the right track.”
Roma will resume Serie A action away to Chievo on Sunday.
