Forster on Barcelona radar

Barcelona are looking at Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster, according to Catalan daily Sport.

With both Victor Valdes and Jose Manuel Pinto set to quit Camp Nou when their contracts expire at the end of the season, the Catalans are in the market for new shot-stoppers.

Catalan newspaper Sport has suggested that Celtic star Fraser Forster is one of the players on Barcelona’s hit-list.

The talented keeper has once again impressed when facing the Catalans in the Champions League and it appears the Camp Nou outfit are seriously thinking about luring him to Spain.

It is believed the 25-year-old would be available for €10 million, which is well within Barcelona’s price range.

The Catalans have enjoyed a brilliant start to the new La Liga campaign, winning first seven league fixtures and creating a five-point advantage over arch rivals Real Madrid. As a result they are now are 4/9 favourites to defend the league title.
