Greece midfielder Giorgos Fotakis has called on his team to play to their potential in their final Euro 2012 Group A game against Russia.

Fernando Santos’ men have collected just one point from their opening two games, but remain a chance to progress to the quarter-finals.

If Greece can beat highly-rated Russia in Warsaw on Saturday, they will advance to the last eight.

Fotakis, who played a half in his team’s 2-1 loss to the Czechs, said Greece needed to concentrate and produce their best if they were to reach the quarter-finals.

“In the first two matches of this tournament we haven’t played well, not to our potential,” he said.

“We have made mistakes and some individual ones, but after all that has happened we still have a chance to qualify we our match against Russia.

“We need to focus fully on that match to stand a chance.”
