(GSM) – Ligue 1 champions Olympique Marseille claim they have snubbed the chance of signing Real Madrid midfielder Guti. The French champions have said the player does not interest them financially nor as a player.

The unsettled Real Madrid midfielder has been suggested to the French giants by his club. However, the 33-year-old veteran will not be moving to Olympique Marseille according to the French club’s sport director Jose Anigo.

“It is not what we are looking for,” Anigo told 10 Sport. “Financially and on the playing side, it is not interesting to us.”

Guti has been at Real since 1995 but is now reportedly set for a move to Besiktas after he was deemed surplus to requirements under new boss Jose Mourinho.
