Fulham back in for Boyata

Fulham are readying an improved bid for Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata, according to the Mail Online.

The newly promoted Premier League outfit have had a £9m bid for the twenty-seven-year old rejected but they are ready to return with an offer of £12m as they aim to get their man.

Celtic are keen to keep hold of the former Manchester City man though they player himself is keen on the move as he looks for a return to England’s top flight.

In three seasons in the Scottish Premiership, Boyata has won back-to-back-to-back league titles as well as two Scottish Cups and the Scottish League Cup.

He has played over one hundred times in all competitions, scoring fourteen goals while internationally he has won ten caps for his country.

Three of those appearances for Belgium came at this summer’s World Cup finals where Roberto Martinez’s side finished the tournament in third place.
