Gabigol wants Santos return

Inter Milan forward Gabriel Barbosa is already hoping to leave Benfica, mere months after joining on loan.

The 21-year-old was loaned out to the Primeira Liga side in an attempt to secure some much needed playing time, but he only managed three competitive appearances so far.

According to A Bola, Gabigol has failed to adapt to life in Lisbon and in Europe altogether, so he is hoping to return to Brazil at the earliest opportunity.

The highly rated footballer aims to get his career back on track at Santos, and it remains to be seen whether Inter Milan and Benfica will agree.

Gabigol has experienced all sorts of problems since leaving the Brazilian giants for Inter Milan, making just nine substitute appearances in Italian Serie A.
