Galatasaray are expecting Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder to decide whether to move to the club in the next 24 hours.

The Istanbul club announced on Wednesday they were interested in bringing the Dutchman to Turkey.

Inter have accepted a bid for Sneijder from Galatasaray and talks have been progressing well, according to director Bulent Tulun.

“Overall, I can say the talks have been positive, but he hasn’t decided yet. He has family issues to discuss.” he told Milliyet.

“Sneijder will notify us of his decision within 24 hours. I think it’s going well, but I cannot say anything definitively.

“Sometimes, transfers that are 99 percent finished don’t happen. For that reason, I am saying nothing.

“Things are moving well, but I don’t know what to expect. We will announce the decision within 24 hours.”

Sneijder has not featured for Inter since September after getting into a stand-off with the club over a new contract.
