Galatasaray are now absolute favorites to win the Turkish league, following a small win over city rivals Fenerbahçe on Sunday.
The two teams began the match sharing the Turkcell Süper Lig lead, and the team that would win, would also have a big chance to take the title.
The only goal of the match was scored by Nonda, after 37 minutes had been played.
With just two games to go, Galatasaray have a three-points advantage over both Fenerbahçe and Sivasspor, who won their match at Denizlispor on Saturday.
‘Gala’ face another big test next week, in their away match to Sivasspor.
Remaining fixtures
Galatasaray: Sivasspor (a), Oftasspor (h)
Fenerbahçe: Gençlerbirligi (h), Trabzonspor (a)
Sivasspor: Galatasaray (h), Gençlerbirligi (a)
