AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani on Tuesday ruled out increasing the club’s bid for Sevilla forward Luis Fabiano.

The Brazilian striker’s agent Jose Fuentes on Monday claimed the Italians would have to improve on their 14 million euros bid for the 28-year-old as Sevilla are holding out for 20 million euros.

But Galliani is adamant.

“We are unmovable from our offer, Sevilla’s price has to come down, otherwise there won’t be a deal,” he said, before admitting they don’t have any other targets, despite speculation linking Milan to AS Roma’s Montenegro forward Mirko Vucinic.

On Monday, Fuentes had claimed the deal was unlikely to go through.

“I’m pessimistic, Milan have made an offer of 14 million euros. That figure is not enough for the first choice striker in the Brazilian national team, it’s a figure that under-values the player,” he said.

“There’s nothing to do, Sevilla can’t sell at that price and they’re right not to.

“Right now we’re waiting to see if there’s a second bid from Milan but if there isn’t it would clearly show that they don’t really want him.”
