Gamer gets Baku job

FK Baku have confirmed ambitious Football Manager gamer Vugar Huseynzade will become the club’s new coach.

Having just sacked former Olympiakos defender Bozdar Bandovic, the side was looking for a new person to fill in the role, with ex-France striker Jean-Pierre Papin among the competitors that the 21-year-old beat.

Huseynzade, who never held a similar position before, has 10 years of experience to call upon from the computer simulation Football Manager

“I’ve always wanted to work in football and have played Football Manager since 2002,” Huseynzade told Metro.co.uk.
