Getafe coach Luis Garcia is confident of causing an upset against Barcelona in La Liga on Saturday.

Barca will have to make do without Jordi Alba, Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez, with the trio set to miss after the international break.

Garcia believes the timing of the game shortly after the break could make a difference, even though he does not expect it to have a huge impact.

“Barcelona may be affected by the timing of the game and the injuries,” Garcia told AS.

“If players like Alexis and Iniesta are out for a long time it will affect them, but I don’t think it’ll make a huge difference in this game.”

The Getafe boss then added that he would like to dominate Saturday’s encounter, but said he would happily suffer if they bag the full three points while being on the back foot.

“Of course, I would like to have the ball, dominate Barcelona and keep them in their own half, but I am yet to see anyone do it,” Garcia said.

“It’s normal for them to have possession for most of the game and I would like to change that, but we’ll be prepared for them to have the ball a lot and approach the game like we did last season – suffering a lot but ending the game with the three points.”

Getafe recorded a 1-0 home win over Barca last season.
