Germain: Monaco can replace Rodriguez

Monaco striker Valere Germain is confident the club cope with the loss of Real Madrid-bound star James Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is poised to join Real in a big-money move after the Colombia international was pictured arriving in the Spanish capital on the weekend.

The 23-year-old, who won FIFA’s Golden Boot with six goals at the World Cup in Brazil, scored 10 goals and registered 12 assists in his debut season for Monaco following his €45million transfer from Portuguese champions Benfica at the start of 2013-14.

While Germain concedes Rodriguez’s departure would be a huge loss, the Frenchman is adamant Monaco – bankrolled by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev – can replace him due to the club’s resources.

“All the players have faith in the club’s officials,” he told L’Equipe

“If James leaves, as he’s considered as one of the best in Europe right now, it would be a huge loss.

“But Monaco can always buy new recruits. I’m sure we’ll have a team as competitive as last year.”

From benfica…..did you just say BENFICA?!?
    Do your homework you fool…
    And get your facts right
He never played there.. Like NEVER
    In fact
… He played for their arch rival FC PORTO

And dont go al ” ooepsie small mistake”
Fc porto and benfica arnt small nobody clubs that you can switch around for fun!
Its like saying ” cristiano ronaldo had anothwr succesvol year at barcalona as wayne rooney scored another goal for man. City”…
    NOT DONE –

James was a fc porto player, and a pretty damn good one! It’s there that his growth started and his talent started to shine etc!
And he transfered togeter with other talent j.moutinho to monaco last year…

So get your facts right, it might be just a little ” mistakes”. But mistakes like this seem as ” sloppy, bad writing, not caring about stuf- mistakes” and give a verry bad impression of the author… As if he 1. Doesnt do some research and just makes
Shizzle up 2. Doesnt care about the artikle and doesnt put effort and lov
