Competition: World Cup
Market: Germany to qualify for semi-finals
Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

Germany face France tonight knowing a win will put them in the World Cup semi-finals again, where this time they stand every chance of going all the way.

The Eagles, managed by Joachim Low, reached the last four in the 2010 World Cup, but lost to eventual winners Spain. This time around, they are one of the favourites after seeing past the likes of Ghana and the USA in the group stages and Algeria in the last 16.

France have been impressive too, however, and will fancy their chances of a surprise win tonight. Les Blues have beaten Honduras, Switzerland and Nigeria en route to book their place in the quarter-finals.

But Bet 365 are still backing Germany to reach the semi-finals at France’s expense, with odds of 8/11. World Cup latter stages games can often be cagey, so the game could well go the distance tonight. Therefore backing Germany to emerge the victors by any means is a safe bet.

Their past record in tournaments has been very impressive. They are chasing a fourth semi-final in a row.
