Gladbach in talks with Kallstrom

Borussia M’Gladbach are negotiating a deal with Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom, Bild has revealed.

Die Fohlen are enjoying one of the most successful seasons in recent years and having finished the first part of the league campaign in third place, they are looking to further reinforce the squad in January.

As a result, they are hoping to complete the signing of Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom from Spartak Moscow by the end of the month.

The 31-year-old joined the Russian giants from Lyon in the summer of 2012, but hasn’t quite managed to adapt to life in Russia.

He has made a total of 30 league appearances, scoring 3 goals in the process, but it appears he wouldn’t mind leaving the club for greener pastures.

Borussia M’Gladbach have reportedly opened talks over his switch to Germany, but it remains to be seen if they can reach an agreement with Spartak.
