The Danish centre-back will relish the opportunity to leave Bundesliga strugglers and join Champions League hopefuls Borussia after making 48 league appearances for the Weserstadion outfit.
At the same time, Paris Saint-Germain starlet Mamadou Doucoure is nearing a move to Borussia-Park, and it appears that the club have put the money from the sale of Granit Xhaka to a good use.
The 18-year-old defender has no senior experience just yet, but he impressed playing for the Saints Under-19 side in UEFA Youth League.
