The French international Patrick Vieira has rejoined the squad and restarted training with his teammates. The former Arsenal player has had constant injury problems since joining the Nerazzurri in 2006, the latest being to his Achilles tendon in his left heel. Vieira has been undergoing a specific treatment and physiotherapy program in France for the past month, but has now returned to be at the disposal of Jose Mourinho.
The 32-year-old trained along with Christian Chivu, Walter Samuel, and Marco Materazzi, who are also recovering from respective knocks.
