Gray set for new Leicester City deal

Leicester City are confident that Demarai Gray will sign a new contract with the club, according to the Telegraph.

The winger had been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium during the summer transfer window and was the subject of a £25m bid from Bournemouth but remained with the 2016 Premier League champions.

Crystal Palace were also interested in signing the former Birmingham City man, who is now set to be offered a ‘double-your-money’ deal as a reward for his faith.

Gray signed for Leicester half way through their title winning campaign making twelve appearances on route to lifting the trophy.

He played forty-one times in all competitions last season, scoring twice while this time around he has come on as a substitute in all four of his side’s league games so far as well as playing the entirety of their EFL Cup win over Sheffield United last month, scoring one of their four goals.
