Greece: Olympiakos cruise past Asteras

(GSM) – Olympiakos Piraeus earned their third league win in a row on Saturday, beating Asteras Tripolis 3-0 at Georgios Karaiskaki stadium.

After losing their opening match this season, Olympiakos did well to bounce back with two victories. Against Asteras, Ernesto Valverde’s men were again the better team.

New signing Marko Pantelic scored the opening goal after 36 minutes, and David Fuster – one of four Spaniards in Olympiakos’ line-up, netted the second shortly after the hour mark.

An own goal from Asteras defender Sokratis Fyntanidis set the score to3-0 in the 72nd minutes.

The visitors finished the game two men down. Argentinian Sebastian Bartollini received a second yellow card in the 60th minute and compatriot Adrian Bastia followed near the end of the match.
