Pep Guardiola has not rejected the possibility of coaching at AC Milan next season, according to his agent.
Guardiola is on sabbatical following his departure from Barcelona in May, at the end of a trophy-laden four-year spell in charge at Camp Nou.
Jose Maria Orobitg, who represents Guardiola, confirmed the Spaniard still plans on spending the whole of this season out of the game, but could be open to the idea of coaching Milan in the future.
“Pep Guardiola has not rejected the AC Milan bench at all,” the agent told TuttoMercato.
“I speak often to Milan, but I can say that Guardiola has not rejected anything.
“He just wants to enjoy this year away from the bench. This is a year off, to relax.
“In the future everything is possible. As it’s said: Never say never. But now is not the time.”
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is has been tipped to leave the club following their indifferent start to the 2012/13 Serie A campaign.
