Guardiola wants Hazard

According to Sport, Pep Guardiola is keen on bringing Eden Hazard to Manchester City.

The Chelsea forward has been linked with Real Madrid for a very long time, but now it seems the former Barcelona coach might spoil the plans of his once greatest rival.

Guardiola reportedly aims for three big-name signings this summer, and apart from Hazard, his potential targets are Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez and Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.

Attack isn’t the only section of the team the Catalan manager wants to add to. Spurs’ centre-back Toby Alderweireld is also in the plans. Having spent an incredible amount of money on defence in the last few seasons, it seems thier back line still need improving after Liverpool and Manchester United recently exploited their weakness.

In midfield, Napoli’s Jorginho, Nice’s Jean-Michael Seri and Shakhtar’s Fred lead the line of candidates to be added to the already impressive part of the squad containing the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan.
