Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has said he wants to feel the pressure during Saturday’s ‘El Clasico’ against arch-rivals Real Madrid which will be crucial for deciding the league title.
“If we want to be champions, we must win at Bernabeu. We have the possibility of taking a huge step towards the title,” he said Friday on the eve of the match at Real’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
“I want to feel the pressure,” he added.
Barcelona, who are in London on Wednesday for the Champions League semi-final second-leg against Chelsea, could extend their lead over second-placed Real to seven points from four with a win.
“They can afford not to win, we can’t,” said Real captain Raul.
After a slow start to the season, two-time defending champions Real have trimmed Barcelona?s lead in recent weeks with just five games remaining in the Spanish League.
