Bundesliga outfit Hamburger SV are stepping up their efforts to sign Portuguese winger Carlos Mane from Sporting Clube de Portugal, A Bola can reveal.
The Red Shorts have finally showed some improvement this season and they clearly want to avoid another relegation tussle by reinforcing the squad in the January window.
Sporting’s Carlos Mane has emerged as their primary target and the club recently submitted an official proposal for his services.
A Bola claims that Hamburg have offered to take the winger on loan until the end of the season for a decent fee, while including a buy-out clause that the Lions are likely to find attractive.
Carlos Mane will not be available on the cheap considering that his contract is valid until June 2020, but having started just one league game this term, he could be allowed to leave.
The 21-year-old recently returned into action from a serious injury, and he has yet to rediscover his form.
