West Ham have Ibrox favourite Nacho Novo in their sights for the impending January transfer window, reports the Daily Mail.
West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola has made it known that his side must broaden their scoring options if they are to lift clear of the relegation zone. Novo, who has netted 42 goals in his 157 outings for Rangers, would provide a much needed boost to second-from-bottom Hammers’ strike-force.
With Novo’s contract expiring in the summer, and West Ham in possible takeover talks with former Birmingham owners David Sullivan and David Gold, cash-strapped Hammers would welcome a cut-rate deal in January.
Rangers have yet to commence contract negotiations with Spanish striker Novo.
