West Ham United sporting director Gianluca Nani has denied rumours linking Valon Behrami with a move away from Upton Park in January.
The Swiss international has been strongly linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus, with the midfielder no stranger to Italian football after playing at Genoa, Verona and Lazio for a number of years.
However, Nani was quick to quash any rumours of an exit telling Radio Tau: “In terms of the outgoing market, I would like to specify that we do not have any intention to get rid of our best players,”
“The same can be said regarding Behrami. He is a great player, and will be staying here.”
Nani also went on to deny that the London club had any interest in Bologna striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo after the Argentinian had strongly been tipped to make a move to the Premier League side.
“Daniel [Osvaldo] is not a player we are currently following, but we did follow him in the past before he joined Bologna,” added the Italian.
“Osvaldo is a great striker, but we are no longer following him, and we are not interested in buying him either.”
