Sweden coach Erik Hamren has spoken of his delight at seeing his team defeat Serbia in their final warm-up fixture before Euro 2012.
Goals from Ola Toivonen and Zlatan Ibrahimovic ensured the Swedes go to the championships in Poland and Ukraine on the back of two straight victories prior to facing Ukraine on Monday.
Of the friendly successes, Hamren told SVT Sport: “It has been two good games for us and we have got what we wanted. Then we have a few days in Kiev to prepare.”
Hamren is confident the Swedes can cause a shock and progress from Group D, which also includes England and France.
“Then it is as I said before, we can have three good matches in Kiev but to move forward we will encounter great resistance,” he said.
“But we’ve got a good feeling in the group that we can go further and further.”
