Luis Suarez will not feature for Barcelona against Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday due to a minor hamstring injury.
Suarez was withdrawn at half-time of Barca’s UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg at Bayern Munich earlier this month, as the Catalan giants reached the final with a 5-3 aggregate victory.
The Uruguay star subsequently missed last weekend’s 1-0 win at Atletico Madrid, which saw Barca depose their hosts as champions.
Suarez is one of a number of Barca absentees as attentions turn to wrapping up a memorable treble with victory over Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final next Saturday and Juventus in the UEFA Champions League decider on June 6.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Dani Alves have all been omitted from the matchday squad for the clash with Deportivo.
The fixture marks Xavi’s final league fixture with Barcelona, with the skipper having confirmed he is to join Al Sadd in Qatar.
