Slovenian ace Samir Handanovic will not be leaving Udinese next month, according to his agent Danilo Caravello.
“Samir is staying in Udine,†noted Caravello. “At least until an important club approach Udinese with an offer. It will then be up to the Bianconeri to evaluate the situation.
“As far as I know, we are not aware of any interested parties in his services. And Samir isn’t interested either as he’s just concentrated on Udinese and his teammates.â€Â
Handanovic’s contract expires in June 2012 and in recent weeks he has been linked with a move away from the club.
“You often become a desirable object on the market when you play for Udinese,†the agent underlined.
“It’s obviously pleasing to hear such stories because it is acknowledgement of the player’s ability. However, for now, nobody has come forward for him.â€Â
